About Us

Silver Blades was founded in 2012, by Liz Shaughnessy, as an independent ISI member skating club that is open to skaters of all ages and abilities interested in the sport of figure skating. Silver Blades recently merged its logo with its "sister" US Figure Skating Club, the Skating Club of Hingham, and strives to provide a high-quality experience for each athlete, and the opportunity to be part of a team. We promote a positive environment to learn the sport of figure of skating, while having fun and making friends, whether as a recreational skater or competitive skater. Club members range from 4 years to adult, from the new beginning skater to the most competitive & advanced. 

We are currently located at Bavis Arena in Rockland, MA, and offer a full service of programs including ISI and USFS programs, Learn to Skate, a bridge program for aspiring competitors, and private lessons.
